2026 - 2027 Commuter Plans

Commuter meal plan sales begin one week prior to the start of each semester and must be purchased by students online by the deadlines specified below. Payment is required in full at the time of purchase. Commuter meal plans must be purchased each semester and are not valid between semesters, please see below for plan expiration dates. Meal swipes included in the meal plan are accepted at The Garden, UTK, and SHO Kitchen and carry a maximum value of up to $20.00 per meal. The debit dollars may be used at any participating meal plan location and replenish on Monday mornings on valid weeks (no deposits are made during spring break). A spring semester meal plan purchase is required in order for fall balances to roll over. Unused funds at the end of spring semester are forfeited without refund. Commuter meal plans may not be canceled or changed at any time once purchased.

FALL SEMESTER COST:  $3,507

SPRING SEMESTER COST: $3,117

With the Commuter Plan, I get both:

  • 5 meal swipes per semester (valued at up to $20 each) accepted at The Garden Restaurant, UTK, and SHO Kitchen.
  • $169.85/week in debit dollars.
  • Unused weekly balances do not rollover from week to week

COMMUTER PLUS

FALL SEMESTER COST:  $3,964

SPRING SEMESTER COST: $3,524

With the Commuter Plus, I get both:

  • 5 meal swipes per semester (valued up to $20 each) accepted at The Garden Restaurant, UTK, and SHO Kitchen.
  • $195.26/week in debit dollars.
  • Unused weekly balances do not rollover from week to week.
